Our
4 Support Workers visit families in their own homes by request.
This service is paid for by the fundraising efforts of our 8 volunteer
fundraising branches, fundraising events, donations and the money
raised in our 5 charity shops and receives no government/statutory
funding. The team advise on practical issues such as Special Educational
Needs & liasing with schools and LEA's, support groups and resources
in the local area, help with practicalities such a form-filling,
funding applications and generally provide support and a listening
ear. They are involved with the family for as long as the client
wants: for a single episode of help on the phone to a long relationship
built over several years.
