Scalesceugh Hall is a residential home owned
by Cumbria Cerebral Palsy and registered with Cumbria Registration
Inspection Unit and the National Care Standards Commission.
 It is an attractive
building, set in its own landscaped grounds, seven miles from
the centre of Carlisle. The home
provides accommodation for 30 residents and a day care facility
for those
living in the community and taking respite breaks.
The aims and beliefs of management and staff are to provide an
environment which encourages and enables people to live as full
and rewarding a life as possible. Residents are encouraged
to identify their individual needs and wishes for the future
and to take as much responsibility as possible for their own
lives.
